Welcome to Jacques Deshaies's Transgenic Feast.

For thousands of years the relationship of Humans to other Species was Domestication or the art of making other Species look like us. Now with Xenotransplantation and Transgenisation comes the Humanisation of Species. Will inevitably follow Human gene inserted into the genome of Animal Species. We will eat it. This is Cannibalisation.

Paintings by Jacques Deshaies

Project
The proposed art is painting. They are conceptual, philosophical paintings dedicated to rigor (of truth as opposed to rhetoric and sophistry) and clarity of thought on the subject of transgenic food. It is by its own nature, food, a Humanity's collective project. It has no agenda, no symbol, no message. It is a work of art.

Thank you
Jacques Deshaies
